this is just the way to start this blog. here i introduce you to all that is important to me in my food: plant-based (that is vegan), nutrient dense, low calorie, no added fat, whole foods, taste (howbeit peculiar) imagination and ingenuity. oh and my favorite store, Trader Joe’s

trader joe's does it again
my late afternoon snack today was a delightful pomegranate cranberry muffin (100 calories, no sugar, no added fat) and a hot squash drink that i creatively call hot squash delight. good stuff. Here are the components (yes, component…can you really call this this a recipe?)
HOT SQUASH DELIGHT
*8 ounces of hot water
*60g of butternut squash puree
*one tablespoon of maple syrup or .25 teas of stevia powder
mix and drink… delicious
